Getting traffic to your website is certainly one of the most, if not the most important aspect of running a successful online business. It doesn’t matter how great the look and feel of your website may be, or what a great sales letter you’ve written if there is no one to see it except for you.

Ouch…  Sometimes the truth hurts doesn’t it.

With this being such an important topic, we had 3 presenters at the May 2009 Internet Marketers of Georgia (imog) bring their best tips on getting traffic to your website. I presented on 3 areas that I know have worked well for me in the past and continue to work well even to this day.

I think you’ll be so surprised to find out how all 3 of these are right in front of your face and you tend to overlook them all the time. I know for me, sometimes I fail to see the obvious and the plain and simple because I’m so intent on finding something new and exotic when all along the answers were staring right into my face.

Bryan Ellis on Traffic

I’d say the “bad boy” of the 3 presenters was by far Bryan. I think he’d he call himself the self proclaimed bad boy if you were to ask him. Just check out the opening paragraph on his blog to see why. Bryan talked about “black hat” traffic tips and seemed to really capture everyone’s attention with his presentation.
